Privacy policy

Meeting Cue collects nothing, sends nothing, and stores nothing from your meetings. Below is the detail behind that sentence.

What the app does with your words

It listens through the microphone, transcribes, searches the documents you imported, and writes suggestions. All four happen on the device itself — the speech model, the document index and the language model are all local.

Audio, the transcript, the documents and the suggestions are held in memory for the session. They are never written to disk, and ending the session — or closing the app — erases them. The action items and key points shown when you end a session are held the same way and erased when you close that sheet; if you tap Copy, what you copied is yours, on your clipboard.

What we collect

Nothing. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, and no third-party SDK doing any of those on our behalf. The app makes no network request to do its job and works with the network switched off.

What is saved on your device

Three things, all yours and all local:

• Your settings — which speech engine and which AI engine you have chosen, how many people are usually in the room, and the interface options.
• Your answers to the setup questions — your role, the areas you work in, the meetings you are usually in and how you like to sound, kept so you do not answer them again.
• How much listening time you have used against the free 20 hours — a count of seconds and nothing else. It says nothing about when you met, who was there or what was said.

The first two live in the app's own storage, are covered by the device's encryption, and go when you delete the app. The listening count is kept in the device's keychain as well, which iOS keeps when an app is deleted, so that reinstalling does not start a second free allowance; erasing the device removes it. None of the three is transmitted anywhere.

Documents you import

A document you add is read and indexed into passages in memory. The original stays where you keep it, and the index is discarded with the session.

Subscriptions

Meeting Cue Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the purchase, the renewal and any refund; we see only aggregate sales reporting and never learn who bought it. We do not receive your name, email address, Apple Account or payment details.

Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Recording other people

This is the one obligation the app cannot discharge for you. Recording laws differ by country and state, and some require everyone's consent. Telling the room you are using Meeting Cue is your responsibility. The app shows that it is listening, but it cannot know the law where you are sitting.

Children

Meeting Cue is a tool for working meetings and is not directed at children. It collects nothing, so it holds no information about anyone of any age.

If you contact support

Support is separate from the app, which never sends a request on your behalf. What we keep when you raise a case is set out on the privacy page.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, and the GDPR or similar law if it covers you, you may access, correct and erase personal information an organisation holds about you. Here those rights have nothing to attach to, because we hold nothing. To erase a support case, quote its number through the support form.

Changes to this policy

If a future version offers an engine that is not on-device, this policy changes in the same release, the app tells you before you can use it, and the claim above is rewritten rather than softened. The version and date at the top are the record.
