Finishing final touches. Not on the Connect IQ Store yet — the link appears here the day it is.

What you get

Raise your wrist, not your phone.

  • Your stop, found

It finds the stop you are at and lists its modes, each with the next departure.

  • Live where it can be

The timetable, corrected with live data. A dot marks a live time; cancelled services are struck through.

  • The stops ahead

Choose a departure to see every stop to the end of the line, and when it gets there.

  • A buzz before your stop

Within 400 metres, or a set number of minutes before it is due. The time-based alert works in tunnels.

  • At the wrong stop?

Scroll up to the stop’s name for the stops nearby, grouped within 100 m, 500 m and 1 km.

  • Set on the watch

Text size, the alert and location, from the watch itself.

Your location

Only when you say so.

The first time it opens, the app asks before it uses your location, and does nothing until you allow it. Then the watch sends its position to our server to find your stop. The server answers and does not keep it. No account, no ads, no analytics.

The first-launch screen, titled Location: To find the stops near you, Next Depart NSW sends this watch’s position to our server. The server answers and does not keep it. START: Allow. BACK: Not now.
