Meeting Cue · help

Get live AI suggestions for what to say in a meeting.

Meeting Cue is a real-time meeting assistant on your iPhone or iPad. It listens, searches the documents you brought, and suggests what to say next while the conversation is still going. Here are the steps, what each card is for, and what it needs.

The steps

  1. Answer the three setup questions the first time you open it: what you do, the meetings you are usually in, and how suggestions should sound. Only your role and style shape the suggestions: they decide the voice the suggestions are written in. Change them any time in Settings › Update About Me.
  2. Open Meeting & Docs and say what this meeting is and who is in it, then import the documents it is about: the spec, the contract, the runbook. The brief and the documents are held in memory for the session and gone when it ends.
  3. Tell the room, then tap Start Listening. The app asks you to tell people you are using it: recording and transcription law differs by country and state, and consent is yours to get. From then on the transcript appears as people talk, and the cards fill with suggestions drawn from what was just said and the passages in your documents that bear on it.
  4. Tap End Session. A sheet lists the action items and key points in the order they came up, each with Source, which shows the lines it was taken from — a note can misread what was said, and the quote is how you check. Copy puts both lists on the clipboard; closing the sheet erases them.

What each card is for

Four cards, each a different kind of thing you could say, written in the voice of the role you gave it. A gloss of the jargon comes with them.

  • Plain English — what is going on in the conversation, in plain words.
  • Immediate — the question worth asking now, before the moment passes.
  • Strategic — the point worth making shortly.
  • Rapport — the line that keeps the room with you.
  • The jargon gloss is not a card of its own. It comes with the four, and explains the jargon in play.

What the suggestions need

Three things at once: iOS 26 or later, a device that supports Apple Intelligence, and Apple Intelligence switched on in Settings. Below that bar you get the transcript and the document search, and no suggestions. The Settings screen inside the app says which of the three is missing, in words. It understands English only.

Nothing from the meeting leaves the device

Speech recognition, the document search and the model that writes the suggestions all run on the iPhone or iPad. Audio, transcript, documents and suggestions are held in memory, never written to disk, and erased when the session ends. While it listens, the Immediate suggestion and the Plain English line also show on the Lock Screen, as a Live Activity you can switch off in iOS Settings. The privacy policy says the rest.
